What is this?

Free speech is the right to express oneself and one's opinion without interference or censorship by the government or any other authority. This right is enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and has since been adopted and upheld around the world. While allowing for the right to free speech, it is also important to recognize that a certain level of responsibility must be maintained by individuals in order to maintain the public order. Furthermore, it is only fair to balance the rights of the individual against those of society and ensure that the public interest is not neglected in favor of any particular personal or political agenda.
